Oct. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Mystery fans have been readers of Agatha Christie all the way up to the present John Locke’s successful Donovan Creed Series. Although this author is new to the scene, R.D. Abruzzese may be the next James Patterson with “The Instrumental Rabbi”, the first in the Professor McCauley series.

The Instrumental Rabbi involves prominent Massachusetts venues such as Boston, Cambridge, Worcester, Sudbury, Weston and Cohasset locations. Part of the novel also takes place in the town of Easton, CT.

From the beginning, The Instrumental Rabbi grabs your attention. Sixteen horrific murders have occurred as Lind Roth prepares to leave her apartment and go to work on a sweltering August evening. Police patrols and helicopters swarming the city do little to allay her fears. The “Subway Slasher” has called for another murder this evening and the city of Boston is frozen in terror. This would be the 17th murder.

Readers are introduced to the world of famous investigator, Professor Stuart B. McCauley as he and his protégé Jenny Smith uncover what lies beneath this series of gruesome murders.

Their investigation leads them from Cambridge across New England to a remote genetic research facility in Easton, CT where they confront the imposing Chief of Security for the A.G. Bhermann Company.

Eventually they arrive at the Weston, MA home of Dr. Albert Scheiter, Chairman of the billion dollar industrial conglomerate Bhermann and the richest man in the world.

The Instrumental Rabbi is a continuous page turner, leading you down the path of whodunits. It is action packed and will not allow for a dull moment. Just when you think it may be one person, a monkey wrench is thrown into the scenario and you begin thinking it may be someone different. If you love a good murder mystery, this book will keep you on the edge of your seat.

The Instrumental Rabbi by R.D. Abruzzese is available on Barnes & Noble Nook, and Amazon in paperback and Kindle formats - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009RVKL2U. If you’d like to contact R.D. Abruzzese for an interview, contact him at author@theinstrumentalrabbi.com
