Oct. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- Point Loma Outfitting, a leading store specializing in performance apparel for life outdoors, has announced the sale of Thule’s brand new line of travel gear, featuring a variety of backpacks, electronics cases, and travel accessories designed for daily travel.

Thule has taken its knowledge from years of experience in travel luggage and transferred it to this new line of daypacks, fit for the modern day commuter. With the same well thought out design and technology as Thule luggage, these packs are designed to make travels easier, whether it’s a trip across the world or taking the local bus to work each day. As always, Thule backs up its products with a 25-year warrants on each bag.

Point Loma Outfitting has Thule’s two newest products available for purchase. The Thule Enroute Strut Daypack is a 23L back pack with a simple design and exceptional features, such as molded straps for comfort, a ventilation channel along the back, and a store flap along the external zipper for further rain protection. The pack is built with durable, water repellent material able to withstand years of wear and tear. The single, main compartment contains an internal padded slip capable of protecting a 17” lap top computer, with enough room for additional items. The exterior pocket can hold a tablet, and has three interior pockets for small essentials needed at the ready. Exterior side pockets hold water bottles, and as with all Thule bags, sunglasses will stay safe in the crush-free, safe-zone pocket along the outside.

Thule’s Enroute Escort Daypack is a 29L back pack with a simple, sleek design and the same superior features as the Strut daypack, and more. This pack includes external loops to connect items from carabiners, and a larger main compartment capable of holding a 17” lap top computer and a 10” tablet in separate padded sleeves. With both the sleeves filled, the Escort day-pack can still hold charging gear and additional items, such as magazines or outerwear for a daily commute. The middle compartment has several interior pockets for books or other small essentials.  The Escort also features the crush-free, safe-zone pocket, and exterior side pockets for water bottles.

In addition to these items, Point Loma Outfitting has the following Thule products available: Crossover Travel Wallet, Crossover Toiletry Kit, Mac book Protective Sleeves, Mac book and iPad Attaché, Crossover 32L Bag, Crossover Sling Pack, Crossover 56L Duffel, and the Crossover 38L Rolling Carry-On.
