Business Matchmaker at the China-LAC Business Summit Estimated to Reach $10 Million

Oct. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- SAN ANTONIO, TX (October 29, 2012) My Business Matches™ executed a successful Business Matchmaking event between Latin American and the Caribbean (LAC) and Chinese companies in Hangzhou, China as part of the VI China-LAC Business Summit on October 18, 2012. According to the Hangzhou Council for the Promotion of International Trade, who reported to the Hangzhou Daily, “the business matchmaker, [which included] 500 Chinese and 130 LAC companies, resulted with an intended 10 million US dollars in contracts.”

Participant, Yu Guomin, had a successful experience by reporting to Hangzhou Daily, “Thank [you] Hangzhou CPPIT. [They] have provided us with such a good business opportunity. According to our appointment schedule, we originally planned only for 9 meetings with the nine different Latin American companies, but the day of the event, we actually negotiated [with] 26."

The event was organized by the Inter-American Development (IDB), in cooperation with the China Council for the Promotional of International Trade (CCPIT), the People’s Bank of China and the Hangzhou Municipal Government.
