Aston Martin Newport Beach Hosts VIP Preview Night

Nov. 5, 2012 - PRLog -- Aston Martin Newport Beach will be hosting an exclusive VIP preview night of the 23rd James Bond film ‘SkyFall’. Scheduled two days before the official U.S. release of the film, the screening is one of the many events the dealership hosts for its loyal clients.  Aston Martin Newport Beach will have the screening at the newly renovated Island Cinema 7 at Fashion Island Newport Beach. This is the second time Aston Martin Newport Beach has hosted a preview night for the James Bond series, the last one was ‘Quantum of Solace’ in 2008. 2012 marks the 50th anniversary of the James Bond series, and 48 years of a lasting partnership between Aston Martin and the James Bond series. This event comes perfectly timed with the upcoming launch of the newest model year Aston Martin DB9.

The preview event is open to select guests and Aston Martin Newport Beach customers. Aston Martin and James Bond first became partners in 1964 in the film ‘Goldfinger” where the Aston Martin DB5 was first introduced. Since then Aston Martin has been in 11 James Bond films which spans out 48 years. Aston Martin has become synonymous with the James Bond brand; Aston Martin is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of a James Bond film.

The James Bond series is the longest running series of films and the most successful financially for the British movie industry. James Bond has been portrayed by many well-known actors through the years, but this will be Daniel Craig’s third time playing James Bond. ‘SkyFall” also brings Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Bérénice Marlohe, Ben Whishaw and Helen McCroy to the James Bond series and Judi Dench returns as ‘M’. The Royal world premiere of ‘SkyFall’ was held on October 23rd in London with Prince Charles and Camilla in attendance and giving it the royal stamp of approval.
