Palms Casino Receives Major HD AudioVisual Upgrades at Sports and Racing Book

Nov. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- (Edison, NJ) McCann Systems, an innovative design-build audiovisual integrator, was selected by Cantor Gaming to bring the latest in high definition audiovisual technology to the Palms Casino Sports and Racing Book.  The project is part of a chain of audiovisual developments that McCann Systems has completed for the Cantor Gaming family of hotels in Las Vegas.

Close to 100 spectators can now watch 28 sports and racing events simultaneously on the casino’s new 80’ curved LED video wall. The huge 4mm LED wall, designed by McCann Systems, is 80’ x 11’ and consists of 6144 x 768 resolution at 2000 nits. The curved wall is one of the largest 4mm black chip LED screens in existence, giving every seat in the house an uncompromised view.

Because the screen is made up of 4mm LED, the video wall can be custom-arranged by dragging and dropping different video sizes to build any number of custom configurations. The high definition screen delivers a bright, crystal clear, high contrast image capable of 24/7 operation with minimal maintenance and low cost of ownership.
