Life'sDHA™ Invites Children to "Be a Hero" in First Multi-City Event on Brain Health

Nov. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- NEW DELHI, November 8, 2012 –life'sDHA™, a brand of Royal DSM, a global science based company active in health, nutrition and materials, today announced the launch of  "Be a Hero," India's first multi-city program highlighting the benefits of making the right diet and lifestyle choices for the development of a child's brain health. Children aged 6 to 10 years old are invited to participate in a cooking workshop on Saturday, November 24th, 2012 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Additional events will take place on the same day in Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata.

India’s first Master Chef Pankaj Bhadouria will teach New Delhi's children and parents how to make yummy, healthy, simple snacks with ingredients found in their own refrigerator. Together, they will also create New Delhi's "longest vegetarian sandwich," providing a unique way to remember how healthy food choices lead to a strong brain. Recognized nutritionist Dr. Karuna Chatuverdi will further explain how a child can "be a hero" through brain health and why a healthy diet, an active lifestyle, a mentally-engaged mind and social connectedness work together to improve it.
