The Come Up: Central Coast Chamber Rap Battle showcases Seaside rappers

Nov. 12, 2012 - PRLog -- The Central Coast Chamber: The Come Up Rap Battle on November 10, 2012 was full of laughs and amazement as young emcees came to showcase their skills and talents at the Stay Fly Clothing Company, in Seaside CA. Highlights from the battle included an unusual comedic exchange between ChewBaccs and Oakland Rapper, T3NJ (pronounced Ten J) due to T3NJ’s missing battle opponent. The organizers, Kali and Uzi placed rapper ChewBaccs with T3NJ, in an effort to not let the young rapper’s hard work go to waste. Chewbaccs decided to take a    comedic turn to trip up T3NJ, however the rappers efforts proved futile as T3NJ was the clear winner. The battle exchange between Kali and Maniacal proved that the organizer is not just someone behind a desk, but a force to be reckoned with as he unearthed his flourishing creativity. However, those skills were not a match for Maniacal, whose ungovernable frenzied rap, exhibited his calculated rhyme schemes.

The Central Coast Chamber is the brainchild of rapper Uzi, after realizing a strong Hip Hop movement in Seaside, CA absent. Uzi felt something needed to be done because there are a lot of rappers in the area. Established in      February 2012 as a trial run, The Central Coast Chambers Rap Battle has seen the likes of rappers, Miggi, Insanity and Junebugg.  Uzi and Kali state their most memorable battle to date has been the battle between rappers Big Izzie and Inovate.

As the Central Coast Chambers Rap Battle expands, the organizers would like to host the event at larger venues and feature celebrity rappers. The next event will be in January 2013.  For more information on the Central Coast Chamber please contact them at:
