Acclaim Legal Svcs. Participates in American Bankruptcy Institute’s Consumer Bankruptcy Conference

Nov. 12, 2012 - PRLog -- American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI), the largest multi-disciplinary organization dedicated to research and education on matters related to insolvency,  has chosen Attorney Christopher Jones of Acclaim Legal Services (http://www.acclaimlegalservices.com/aop/Southfield-chapter-7/index.php) as a planning committee member and presenter at their upcoming event, “Detroit 8th Annual Bankruptcy Institute:  Consumer Bankruptcy Conference”.

ABI’s conference and workshop panelists always include expert practitioners and bankruptcy judges who provide a unique perspective.  On November 12, 2012, Attorney Chris Jones, managing attorney at Acclaim Legal Services, will be joining Judge and other attorney panel members to discuss “Retirement Planning and Bankruptcy.”  Attorney Jones will serve as a moderator.

Christopher W. Jones has specialized in representing debtors in both Chapter 13 (http://www.acclaimlegalservices.com/aop/Southfield-chapter-13/index.php) and Chapter 7 (http://www.acclaimlegalservices.com/aop/Southfield-chapter-7/index.php) consumer bankruptcy cases since 2005 when he joined Acclaim Legal Services.  A member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Consumer Bankruptcy Association, Mr. Jones is admitted to practice in the courts of the state of Michigan and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He is currently pursuing Board Certification from the American Board of Certification.  He graduated from the Ave Maria School of Law, where he served as a member of the editorial board in the position of executive articles editor for the "Ave Maria Law Review."
