Follow on Google News | New chef joins Mafiz Ali’s team at Ayr Spice Indian RestaurantLeading Ayrshire restaurateur Mafiz Ali has announced that he has appointed local chef Barry Cornes to join his top culinary team at Ayr Spice Indian Restaurant in Minishant, Ayrshire.

Mafiz explained: “Popular and much loved as our Indian / Bangladeshi menu is, many our our regular diners might prefer to choose more traditional Scottish food during the festive season of Christmas and New Year. “So I have recruited local chef Barry Cornes to join our team, and together we have concocted a special Scottish menu, which will be available at Ayr Spice from 1st December until 2nd January.” You can view the Scottish Christmas menu: https://docs.google.com/ Mafiz has also concocted a special Indian / Bangladeshi Christmas menu, which you can view at: https://docs.google.com/ Both menus are available by prior booking only. The church was erected by the thread magnate Sir Peter Coats of nearby Auchendrane, in loving memory of his wife Glorianna, who died in 1877. Indian food can be simple or elaborate, humble or opulent, within a culinary tradition that is centuries old.
