Hindustan Tin Works Ltd announces un-audited results for Second Quarter (Q2) 2012-13

Nov. 15, 2012 - PRLog -- New Delhi, 15th November, 2012:

India’s one of the leading can manufacturer producing a wide range of CANS and providing quality packaging solutions, Hindustan Tin Works Ltd, a recognized star exporter today reported its quarterly profit & revenue numbers with a 11.4 % jump in the net profit after tax for the quarter ended 30th September  2012.

While the company saw its net sales crossed
60 cr. for 2nd Quarter, as compared to
59.99 cr. of the corresponding period last year.

The Profit after Tax stood at
1.21 cr. as compared to
1.08 cr. in the corresponding quarter of the previous year thereby showing 25.9% increase. Earnings per share stood at
1.16 as compared to
1.04 in the corresponding quarter of the previous year thereby showing an increase of 11.4 %.

The numbers for ending nine months are also encouraging. PAT stood at
4.51 cr. as compared to
4.20 cr. thereby showing an increase of 7.4 %.

Earnings per share stood at
4.20 as against
4.04 of corresponding nine months of the last year showing an increase of 7.4%.

Mr Sanjay Bhatia, Managing Director, Hindustan Tin Works Ltd said “We are happy that inspite of the tough market conditions, we have seen positive trends in the companies financial performance – Increase of 11.4% in PAT/EPS and marginal growth in sales. We are quite hopeful that this trends will continue in the rest of the year ”
