Nov. 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Cary, North Carolina based Wake Plastic Surgery is hosting a three day event in an effort to raise money and basic living supplies for The Masonic Home for Children at Oxford (MHCO). The event will be held on December 5th, 6th and 7th at Wake Plastic Surgery’s Cary, North Carolina office.

Near and dear to the team of Wake Plastic Surgery’s heart, is the importance of giving back to the community. Each year they select a local group as the benefactor of their fundraising efforts. MHCO was selected due to their long-standing service to children in North Carolina.

“Wake Plastic Surgery patients have been incredible in helping us support children with gifts and toys in Christmases past,” said Lynn Stoeckel, Office Manager at Wake Plastic Surgery. “This year, we feel privileged to contribute in small part to children living in North Carolina’s oldest orphanage,” Stoeckel added.

Founded in 1872, MHCO is North Carolina’s oldest residential home for the care of children. Funded largely by donations, each charitable contribution goes toward helping children at the facility live a better life.

During the three day event, Wake Plastic Surgery will be accepting specific items that are needed by their benefactor. Needed items include personal care articles such as hygiene supplies and clothing, as well as basic living needs such as bed sheets, alarm clocks, flashlights and cooking utensils. A complete list of needed items can be found at http://www.wakeplasticsurgery.com/needslist.php.

“We understand that other organizations will collect toys for them, but we have the privilege of helping supply items from their basic-needs list,” said William T. Stoeckel, MD, Plastic Surgeon and owner of Wake Plastic Surgery. “In working together, it’s our prayer that these children will know that love reaches them from many places and that their lives are of infinite value,” Stoeckel added.

In exchange for the contribution of an item from the MHCO’s needs list valued at $10 or greater, Wake Plastic Surgery is offering substantial holiday specials on aesthetic products and packages. Some of the items that will be offered at a reduced price during the event are Botox®, Juvéderm®, ViPeel®, Latisse®, MicroLaserPeel and TCA.

For those who cannot make the event, Wake Plastic Surgery is accepting call-in cash or credit card donations, which will be used to purchase Wal-Mart® gift cards for MHCO. Those interested can make their donation by calling (919) 805-3441.
