By: The Nam Hai The exclusive event, which is limited to 30 guests and priced at VND 2.9 million++ per person, begins at 7:30 p.m. with Brane-Cantenac proprietor Henri Lurton pouring the first of four wines chosen in collaboration with The Nam Hai’s executive chef, Richard Wilson. Brane-Cantenac wines are made in the prestigious Margaux appellation of Bordeaux on an estate that dates to the early 1700s. In 1922, Lurton’s great grandfather acquired the domaine. And in 1996, Lurton took the helm. With each vintage served, the experienced vintner will provide essential background to understanding the wine’s chief qualities, while Wilson rolls out a dish designed to complement its taste, texture and aroma. Lurton’s visit marks another milestone in The Nam Hai’s brief-but-remarkable history. Since opening in December 2006, the Central Coast hotel has been recognized by the biggest names in hospitality authority, including Travel + Leisure and Conde Nast Traveler magazines and The Australian newspaper.
