Credit Union Joins Forces with FOX8 (WGHP) to Host Contest

Nov. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Winston Salem- Truliant Federal Credit Union recently joined forces with FOX8 (WGHP) to launch the “Mortgage for a Year” contest, in which a winner from the Triad area will have his or her monthly mortgage payments paid for a year by Truliant. The submission deadline for entries for the contest is Sunday, November 25.

“At Truliant, we know that owning your own home is one of the greatest joys in life, as long as you can afford it. We work with our members to get a low-rate mortgage that best meets their needs and one they can comfortably pay,” said Marc Schaefer, president and CEO of Truliant. “We know people have struggled and could use some help paying their mortgage. So, we are offering to pay the winner’s mortgage for one year, and hope that they will use this extra money to help build a stronger financial foundation for their future.”  

         To enter the “Mortgage for a Year” contest, visit myFOX8.com and click on the “Contest” tab at the top of the page or through the links on Truliant's website banner. Look for the “Pay My Mortgage or Rent for a Year” logo and click on it. Then, follow the instructions to enter. Those who wish to enter must “Like” FOX8’s Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/Fox8News and also “Like” www.facebook.com/TruliantFCU. Participants can gain extra entries by sharing and posting the link on their own Facebook page. For every four friends they get to enter through the contest link posted on their Facebook page, they will gain another entry.
