Devon Prep Seniors Recognized by National Merit Scholarship Program

Main Line private school recognized for high scores on the PSAT.
 
Nov. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- Four Devon Prep seniors were named Commended Students by the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program. They are: Thomas Seykora of Broomall, Paul Johnson of Paoli, Rafael Suero of Broomall and Michael Tolvaisa of Springfield.

The National Merit Scholarship Program is an annual academic competition for recognition and scholarships. More than 1.5 million students in over 22,000 U.S. high schools enter the Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

Commended students are among 34,000 of the approximately 50,000 high scorers on the PSAT/NMSQT® who were recognized for their outstanding academic promise.

Devon Prep is a private, Catholic, college preparatory school for young men in grades six to 12 conducted by the Piarist Fathers. The school is located on a 20 acre campus in Devon, Chester County and enrolls nearly 300 students who hail from Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties as well as parts of Philadelphia.
