Follow on Google News | Best regeneration honour awarded to Linden Homes’ development in Bradford-on-Avon‘Housebuilder of the year’ Linden Homes is celebrating after receiving the ‘best regeneration’ title at this year’s Housebuilder Awards, for Kingston Mills.
By: M M S The development, undertaken by Bristol-based Linden Homes Western, was awarded the ‘best mixed use’ title for the site of 171 converted and new homes, plus retail, café and restaurant space. This win extends Linden Homes’ success at Kingston Mills from earlier this year, when it added more silverware to its trophy cabinet, in September, by scooping the ‘best mixed use development’ Kingston Mills is a riverside development of 171 homes, built on derelict land, formerly occupied by a tyre and rubber works factory which closed in 1992. The development is situated in a conservation area on the banks of the River Avon, opposite the medieval Town Bridge, in the heart of the Wiltshire market town. Clive Wiltshire, managing director for Linden Homes Western, said: “This is fantastic recognition for our entire team and for the hard work carried out on this development. “To pick up yet another award shows how we are keeping up the momentum and delivering results for customers and communities.” As well as Bradford-on- End
