Record Turnout of Stockholders and Suppliers Highlights 2012 VIPAR HD Business Conference

Dec. 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Crystal Lake, IL – A record number of stockholders and suppliers participated in the 2012 VIPAR Heavy Duty Annual Business Conference at the Marco Island (Fla.) Marriott from October 21-26. Over 90 percent of VIPAR Heavy Duty stockholders/distributors from the U.S., Canada and Mexico attended the event that included educational seminars, a tradeshow, an annual stockholder meeting, and one-on-one meetings with over 110 supplier partners.

The conference was highlighted by a well received inspirational message from Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Terry Bradshaw, a four-time Super Bowl champion quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers and a well-known broadcaster on Fox NFL Sunday.

The conference was conducted under the theme "Connected," which represents the strong relationships between VIPAR Heavy Duty stockholders, supplier partners and  customers.

The 2012 VIPAR Heavy Duty Annual Business Conference included a general session for distributors. Several value-added sessions were held on VIPAR Heavy Duty’s strategic direction, a session on competitive distribution strategies, a profile of the commercial vehicle market and a distributor profitability session.

VIPAR Heavy Duty’s 2013 Annual Business Conference will be held October 20-25 at the Marco Island Marriott Resort in Marco Island, Fla.
