Dec. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- In support of local downtown Los Angeles children and families in need this holiday season, marketing agency Forte- The Collective is hosting its second annual “DTLA Holiday Toys & Tops Drive” from December 5 to 17. In partnership with the STAPLES Center Foundation, AEG’s Season of Giving, and JAKKS Pacific, the marketing agency is asking local businesses and residents to donate new, unwrapped toys, clothing or accessories.

“It is once again our honor to be hosting the second annual DTLA Holiday Toys & Tops Drive,” said Rainier de Ocampo of Forte- The Collective. “The success and support we experienced from our first holiday drive was our impetus for hosting it again this year. All donations received will benefit the following STAPLES Center Foundation’s partnerships: Children’s Bureau, Inner City Arts, Brotherhood Crusade, Central American Resource Center (CARECEN), and several other local nonprofit organizations.”

Additionally, de Ocampo notes that JAKKS Pacific has agreed to double the impact by matching a generous amount of toys for donations received during the holiday drive.  From December 5 to 17, designated holiday drop-off boxes will be located in the lobby of the following ANJAC Fashion Buildings in downtown L.A.

● 117 West Ninth St., Los Angeles CA 90015
● 850 South Broadway St., Los Angeles CA 90015
● 1031 South Broadway St., Los Angeles CA 90015

Some of the items requested for donation include board games, puzzles, dolls, action figures, stuffed animals and clothing items such as shirts, coats, scarves, gloves, pants and shoes.

“Each holiday season, STAPLES Center Foundation donates hundreds of toys and clothes to local organizations in the Los Angeles area. It is an honor and privilege this year to partner with Forte to help deliver joy and happiness to our neighboring children,” said Martha Saucedo, Executive Vice President, External Affairs for AEG.
