PRLog -- Treasure Coast Recovery is located in the quaint little town of Stuart, Fl. Stuart is known as the "Sailfish Capital of the World" and is an hour north of West Palm Beach on the east coast of Florida. Our year round temperature allows for an environment conducive to assisting clients on their road to recovery. We are an intimate 18 bed facility whose residence backs up to the Inter-coastal Waterway and is just minutes from the top beaches in Florida. We are licensed by the State of Florida to treat adults, age 18 and older. What sets us apart from other treatment centers is our staff to client ratio with a full-time clinical director and two full-time therapists. Our clients participate in a myriad of therapies and are guided by experienced professionals to get to the "core issues", which may be affecting their ability to get and stay clean and sober. Our Medical Director is an experienced Addictionologist, well versed in the treatment of addiction and the medications that are sometimes necessary to alleviate depressive or anxiety producing symptoms. Aside from the aforementioned, we are a drug-free program and frown on our clients taking any mood altering prescribed drugs. Along with our clinical program, we try to show our clients that the "fun" is not over when you get sober. We sanction weekend activities such as "paintball", trips to the beach, movies, and bowling. Our clients are supervised around the clock to ensure they maintain abstinence. In addition, they are taken out to various 12-Step Meetings every night and encouraged to interact with "others" who have been down the same road and are now living productive, happy lives.
