His music is as hot as ABC's new # 1 show "Nashville." He's had the guidance of grizzled country hitmaker Robert Metzgar. When he turned in his songs, Metzgar said, "Write some better ones." When he turned in his second group of songs, Metzgar said, "You really have talent but you have to write me some better songs." Well, Maddox worked up a sweat performing at B B King's this year at the Country Music Fan Fesitval and wrote better songs. They have climbed to the top of the Hot Country Singles chart.
