RAW Hair by LG presents the Mane Attraction Hair & Fashion Show

Dec. 15, 2012 - PRLog -- The purpose of this event and Raw Hair’s mission is to empower women of all cultures to Look, Act, Feel and Be Beautiful.  One way to do this is to style women in Raw Hair’s naturally feeling, 100% Pure Virgin hair extensions.  These are the type of high quality extensions worn by many celebrities on the Red Carpet and have been seen in documentaries such as comedian Chris Rock’s ‘Good Hair’.  Notably, businesswoman, Renee Turner took her Raw Hair around the country on her visits to see her friend Jay Leno and parties thrown by Vanity Fair.  She was styled in Raw Hair locally by The Hair Gallery owner, Lakeisha Gibson.  Ms. Gibson explains that “Raw Hair was made to empower and motivate women.”  She goes on to say  “Beauty can be exotic and fun” , “Play around with different looks!!”

    During this hair & fashion show, the models will be styled in Raw Hair and made to look like some of the most popular women from TV, Film and Music.  Also, each of the beautiful models will dress in clothing by some of the areas talented, local fashion designers.  Ms. Gibson states that “show attendees can expect an exotic, rare flair of beauty on the runway.”  The models will be walking the runway with flair and confidence to the sounds of the band Fyah Stah Tahs.  Vendors will also be on hand with everything from hair & fashion accessories to presentations on BOTOX treatments.

    Raw Hair by LG was created by LaKeisha Gibson.  Ms. Gibson has over 15 years of experience in the hair care business.  In the last ten years, she has specialized in installing hair extensions for women of every background and ethnicity.  Over this time, she has earned a stellar reputation of excellence in the region.  Her business is diverse, serving the entire community.  She was the first to introduce 100% Virgin hair extensions to the area and has trained many stylist in the art form.

The hair & fashion show is on Saturday, January 12th at 444 W 3rd St, Sinclair Community College Bldg 12.  Doors open at 4:00pm and the show runs from 5:00pm – 8:00pm.
