Follow on Google News | 33 Local Children Gets Free Christmas Shopping SpreeOn Saturday, December 15th, Project LINK surprised thirty-three local underprivileged children by taking them on a free Christmas shopping spree at the Target store on West Waters avenue, which was sponsored by the Glazer Family Foundation.

This year's popular holiday shopping spree has given hundreds of underserved children the opportunity to select clothing, toys and gifts for their siblings, thanks to the help of Buccaneers staff, Cheerleaders, and Captain Fear, along with Project LINK volunteers and school partners. Tina Young, executive director of Project LINK states, "I'm very honored for LINK to be accepted as one of the bay area community non-profit agencies that embarked on a great opportunity to bring holiday to cheer for children we serve." "I over-heard many of the children telling buccaneer staff and cheerleaders, that it was one of the best days of their lives", she says. Project LINK is a local non-profit agency with offices in West Tampa (Just Full Service Center), and East Tampa (Sanchez Full Service Center), and (Kings Kid Academy of Health & Science) .
