Dodge City of McKinney joins forces with Texans vs Nation benefiting the Make A Wish Foundation

Dec. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- The Texas vs. the Nation http://www.texasvsthenation.com All-Star game is a post-season college football all-star game that was established in 2006.  Each team consists of approximately 54 draft eligible players, representing Div I, II and III college football teams, from all over America.

Texas vs. the Nation began as an idea to bring a sense of rivalry and teamwork back to the all-star arena by pitting the best of Texas against the rest of the Nation.

Each year the NFL, CFL and other professional football leagues send over 200 scouts, front office personnel, senior executives, and coaches to evaluate the talent and to attend special events.

And what a celebration it is going to be!  Dodge City of McKinney has joined forces with Make-A-Wish Foundation®, “The Drew Pearson Show”, and “1310 The Ticket”.  The whole day will have a star-studded group of celebrities making special appearances, bands, classic cars, Video Game Theater, and great food.  (1987 Heisman Winner, Tim Brown will make a visit at 12 Noon.)

The day will begin with The Ticket Live Call in Show from Dodge City of McKinney with several pieces of sports memorabilia provided for the silent auction, game tickets and other give-a-ways.  This will be one of the biggest events in all of Dallas/Ft. Worth, and will provide a great time for everyone.

Under direction from the NFL, Texas vs. the Nation made a move to a premier stadium, Allen Eagle Stadium in Allen, Texas, for a game to take place Saturday, February 2, 2013. Just outside of Dallas, Texas, this 18,000-seat, $60 million facility is a premier stadium set to accommodate players, coaches, scouts and team representatives from all over the U.S. From the previous 5 games that have been played, over 100 players have been selected in the NFL Draft and more than 500 have signed with an NFL team.
