Movers & Shakers--A New Feature on Sampod4u.com

Dec. 21, 2012 - PRLog -- "The Very Best in the World of Entertainment for the 20th Century and Beyond."  That is how sampod4u.com advertises itself.  And yet, almost 85 percent of what can be seen relates mostly to the years before 2000.  That is not a complaint; just a fact.  Mike DeVita, the webmaster, felt that the webpage needed to have more emphasis on those people who have made a real mark on the years between 2000 and 2012 in all fields of entertainment. He says, " I really would like to have a site that appeals to anyone who visits."  And what better time to start a new page than the current time, ending 2012 and entering 2013. So, the page can either be a celebration of the current holiday or a way of saying Happy New Year.

And so, today enter the new page called: "21st Century: MOVERS & SHAKERS". That is the main page, and it currently has 3 subdivisions: Music, Movies and Television. The pages specifically state that updating will be done on a regular basis in order to keep current with those personalities who continue to put a dent in the contemporary world of entertainment.  Each page starts with the currently most significant artists as the world moves into another year.  The only page that is pretty much complete is the page outlining the most important television shows of the time period. That is history, and it won't change, but it will be updated as new shows are developed for tv in 2013 and beyond.

Other members of the Administrative team (Janet Moore, Christie Sietos and Carol Johnson) will be assisting in the further development of these pages which opened on the website today. Between them, they represent vast differences in ages and opinions so the content can be truly relative to lots of people. The Team would also like to have a page in this section devoted to up-coming new acts...everyone needs a place to start and a helping hand. As Mike said, "come back often. The pages will change frequently because things happen so fast these days." And as always, the team members would love to hear the opinions of those who visit, and there are two forums on the main page where they can express their opinions, as well as a special "Contact" page on the navigation menu.

Sampod4u.com is now entering its third year of operation, and the site has a constantly growing list of viewers. One such person recently said, "There is so much to look at here, I could spend days."  The webmaster responds: "I hope you can spend weeks and weeks. If you love music and movies, there is much to see." The website motto is now and has always been: Sit Back, Relax, Enjoy.
