RMJ Technologies Awarded EMWD's Supplier of the Year

Dec. 31, 2012 - PRLog -- SAN DIEGO, CA – December 31, 2012 – RMJ Technologies (www.rmjtech.com), a GPS vehicle tracking solutions provider, announced today that Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) presented RMJ Technologies with its “Supplier of the Year” award (out of over 250 suppliers) at its December Board of Directors Meeting.

RMJ Technologies has provided a fleet management system that combines GPS technology with engine diagnostics to improve the productivity and efficiency of fleet operations for EMWD since March of 2009.  With the use of this technology, EMWD has experienced zero at-fault speed accidents, dramatically reduced the district’s liability, saved over $1million, and paid for the implementation of the system in just the first 2.5 months of use.

EMWD supplies potable water, wastewater collection and treatment, and recycled water to a community of approximately 675,000 people in the Western Riverside County including eight local water agencies and municipalities that have their own water departments.  With a service area of approximately 555 square miles, EMWD is the fifth largest water district in California. EMWD employees approximately 650 employees and operates a fleet of over 600 vehicles which includes approximately 350 on-the-road vehicles including sedans, pick-up trucks, vans, heavy duty service trucks, dump trucks, and tractor trailers.
