Santa Claus Visits The Village on High Ridge in Style

Jan. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Santa’s sleigh looked a little different this year when he arrived at The Village on High Ridge, an assisted living community for seniors. This year, he made his grand entrance by motorcycle on Christmas Eve, bringing gifts for everyone and lots of Christmas cheer.

Residents and guests were greeted at the holiday celebration with eggnog in the main lobby, followed by a turkey dinner prepared by the kitchen dietary staff, and performances by Reino Pelkonen, who played everyone’s favorite Christmas carols accompanied by his accordion.

“Holidays are especially festive here at The Village on High Ridge,” said Anne Cline, activity director of The Village on High Ridge. “It is important to us to bring families and guests into our community to celebrate the season together. Our Christmas party is always a wonderful occasion with great food and entertainment.”
