The camera provides a x18 optical plus a x12 digital zoom and the ability to detect movement in up to 8 predefined block areas. The camera utilises Hitachi’s proprietary high speed auto-focus system to enhance the flexibility of using this camera. Built in Wide Dynamic Range ensures you have clear pictures even when the contrast between the subject and back ground is high.  Automatic or manual IR filter cut plus digital slow shutter enables the camera to see down to 0.02lux improving the image even in difficult viewing conditions. Motion detection triggers when any eight blocks see movement allowing warnings to be sent to the control room.  Privacy zone masking allows windows, entrances and other areas subject to privacy concerns to be blanked out.

This masking system maintains the position and size of the area even when the camera is being paned, tilted or zoomed. 16-bit YUV parallel, (REC601 (format) digital video output at full frame rate provides excellent image definition and smoothness. Built in features include Image, reverse, mirror, vertical invert and image freeze. Dynamic white spot compensation improves the picture at low light levels by checking adjacent pixels and correcting the white pixel if required.
