Arizona Natural Practitioner to Present at National Conference on Lyme Disease

Jan. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Kingman area Certified Traditional Naturopath, Jack Miller is scheduled to speak at the prestigious Academy of Comprehensive Integrative Medicine (ACIM) conference on Lyme disease this June. The event, titled “Integrative Lyme Solutions” takes place in Dallas, Texas and features world renowned experts on the normally incurable and potentially fatal condition.

Lyme disease is contracted by humans when bitten by a tick infected with the B. burgdorferi bacteria. People suffering from the chronic disease experience a variety of physiological and neurological symptoms including pain, numbness, extreme fatigue and problems with memory and speech.  It is an aggressive disease, difficult to treat with standard medical procedures and sometimes results in death. Breakthroughs in Integrative Medicine have made it possible to recover quickly and fully from the devastation it causes.

Jack Miller’s decision to pursue a career in holistic therapies was triggered as a result of his own recovery from Lyme disease. In 2003, after almost dying from stage 3 Lyme disease, he was enrolled in a medical pilot study with leading expert on the malady, Dr. William Lee Cowden. During the program he achieved a complete recovery based on purely natural therapies.  

Jack’s role in the upcoming ACIM conference is significant as both a recovered former Lyme disease patient who was one of the patients in the Pilot study that compared natural medicine to drug therapy, and also as a trained traditional naturopathic practitioner who currently works with clients with Lyme disease. He will present real world solutions verified through 5 case studies of individuals who have previously been diagnosed with Lyme disease and subsequently made significant improvement using only natural modalities.
