Real L.A. Sheriff's Sergeant and Real Stand Up Comic Filming Comedy Special at El Portal Theatre

County Sheriff's Sergeant, and real stand up comic, Cliff Yates is filming a one hour stand up comedy special on February 7, 2013 at 8:00 pm.  The comedy concert will be held at the El Portal Theatre 5269 Lankershim Blvd, North Hollywood, Ca 91601. Tickets are $30.00 and available on line at www.cliffyates.com.  Cliff Yates, cop and comedian leads a double life working for the L.A. County Sheriff's Department's Transit Services Bureau by day, and stand up comedian by night. Cliff talks about his life growing up with a dad as a cop, and his experiences as a cop in upstate New York, before leaving for Los Angeles to join the Sheriff's department, and pursue his dream job as an entertainer.  One fan said "Cliff defies the cop stereo type, opening himself to complete strangers on stage, willing to laugh at himself with his audience, it's refreshing".  Dave Fasano--New York range instructor.
