America’s Top “Mother Bloggers” Join Forces to Produce Weekly “Super Blog” TV Show

Jan. 9, 2013 - PRLog -- Los Angeles – They’re five of the nation’s top bloggers who entertain and inform moms everywhere with stories and advice about motherhood and family – typically with twists of humor and wit.  These bloggers are moms themselves and have vast online audiences of loyal followers who never miss a word and consider them virtual friends. They’re in the know and have the scoop and insight that only moms can understand. These five mom bloggers have come together to create a new weekly TV talk show called, what else, Mother Bloggers. The series airs on the FirstRun.tv

Stacy Dymalski, Heidi Ferrer, Susie Johnson, Amanda Rodriguez, and Jennie Marshall live in Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, New York, Washington DC, and Chicago, respectively, and have never met in person. Using video and internet technology, they convene online covering informative and funny topics of interest to moms everywhere. Topics include Kid Home Safety, Bedtime Battles, Embarrassing Mom Moments, Traveling with Toddlers, Taming Temper Tantrums, and many more.

According to the 2009 United States census, there are more than 70 million moms with children under the age of 18. And per a recent study by Scarborough Research, about 3.9 million moms in the United States identify themselves as bloggers. “The mother blogger movement, also called mommy blogging, is huge and expanding,” said Gary Kleinman, former Disney Studios Vice President and Executive Producer of the Mother Bloggers show. “We’re taking this great information and entertainment that typically is in the form of written words, and turning it into a visual
experience, seeing the live interaction of incredibly bright and funny ladies who bring their own motherhood viewpoints to the table,” Kleinman added. The series also includes video segments (a.k.a., vlogs) shot by the moms.

Each Mother Blogger is known for her individual view on motherhood, and each has a blog website adorned with its own brand:
