Access One Incorporated Sponsors the Oz Park Baseball Association, Supports Chicago Youth Baseball

Jan. 10, 2013 - PRLog -- The Oz Park Baseball Association (OPBA) is proud to announce Access One Incorporated (Access One) has agreed to be a “World Series” Sponsor for the 2013 youth baseball season.  As a sponsor, Access One is supporting the development of youth baseball in the city of Chicago.  Proceeds from Access One’s generous contribution will fund much needed field improvements, player development, scholarships for underprivileged children, training for OPBA coaches, and events for the community.

Youth athletics creates life forming experiences for children and life changing experiences for the adults who volunteer their time.  Specifically, youth baseball provides children the opportunity to develop self-confidence, enhance self-esteem, and improve social skills through healthy competition in a safe environment.  Study after study reveal that children who participate in youth sports perform better academically and assimilate better socially.  It can be argued that having access to youth athletics is more important in cities such as Chicago where options are often more limited than they are in suburban and small town environments.  That is why providing funding for youth sports programs like the Oz Park Baseball Association is critical.

About Oz Park Baseball Association- The Oz Park Baseball Association (OPBA) is a family oriented, 501(c) 3 accredited, instructional baseball league for children between the ages of 4 and 14.  The OPBA was founded in 2009 for the express purpose of bringing high quality, instruction based youth baseball to the communities surrounding Oz Park, in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.  The vision of the OPBA is to be the best-in-class provider of youth athletics to include:
