Saint Mary School Opens 2013-14 Registration with Open House Events for Interested Families

Jan. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Middletown, CT - Saint Mary School, preK-8th grade Catholic School, is hosting open house events for prospective families.  

First, an Open House for prospective students and their families is being held on Sunday, January 27 from 11:30am - 2:00pm, the opening day of Catholic Schools Week.  Families may tour the school and meet the principal, teachers, and other parents.  Light refreshments will be served and information packets will be available to take home.  Interested families are invited to come and explore all the school has to offer.

Saint Mary Preschool, housed on the Saint Mary campus, will also be open for visitors to see the facility, meet the staff, and learn about the program.  Saint Mary's comprehensive Pre-K curriculum provides a solid foundation for kindergarten through playful, purposeful, and personalized instruction.  Students may enroll in the prekindergarten program for  full day or half day.

Saint Mary School has a 100 year tradition of inspiring faith and academic excellence in students.  Students develop mind and spirit through rigorous academics, art, music, drama, sports, technology, Spanish (grades 1-8), service projects, technology, STEM, religious education, and more.  The integration of faith and learning, a hallmark of Catholic education, promotes a safe, respectful, family-oriented environment for students.

In addition to the Open House, beginning February 6, Saint Mary's is offering "Welcome Wednesdays" from 8:30am - 10am.  Prospective parents may drop in during these times to see the school in action.  They will be given a tour of the school and an opportunity to ask questions of the principal and a host parent.  Parents may also visit a classroom.  Registration packets will be available.    "Welcome Wednesdays" will continue weekly through April.

Registration for 2013-2014 begins on January 27.  Registrations submitted at the Open House and on "Welcome Wednesdays" will be dated to ensure that consideration be given in the order received.  Parents may also make individual appointments to visit the school.
