![]() Bonita Vista High School PTSA Sponsors Free eWaste Drop-Off FundraiserRecycle San Diego and the Bonita Vista High School PTSA have partnered to benefit the school by hosting an eWaste Event on Saturday, January 26th, 2013 from 10am-2pm in the school’s main parking lot at 751 Otay Lakes Road, Chula Vista.
Jeffrey Harding, the Founder and President of Recycle San Diego, says “By conducting this eWaste Event, Recycle San Diego is making it easier for environmentally- Items that can be recycled include: computers, monitors, TVs, laptops, cables, printers, fax machines, scanners, DVD players, VCRs, and other electronic items. Recycle San Diego wishes to remind the public that it is illegal to dispose of e-Waste in the trash and California requires that companies recycle their e-Waste. California currently has the most comprehensive landfill ban in the nation, curbing both the illegal disposal and export of the largest category of toxic electronics which includes CRT TVs and computer monitors.
