Aluminium Balcony Screen for the Coast

Alifab of Pietermaritzburg recently completed the manufacture and installation of a balcony enclosure on an apartment block near the Durban beach front.

The all aluminium screen enclosure was powder coated to ensure a beautiful finish that would last for a very long time. Using powder coated aluminium also meant that no maintenance would be required for the life span of the product and cleaning it would be simple and easy.

The customer also required 2 sliding panels in the enclosure that could be open when required. These were installed using a top hung roller track system with the same Amplimesh infill. The panels can be locked for security purposes.

The enclosed balcony offers an economically viable security option while allowing the free flow of air throughout the apartment as the doors can now be left open.

The customer is so pleased at being able to sleep in the cool night air, with the doors open, without fear of trouble.
