Healthy Smiles Support Boys and Girls Club Youth

Jan. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- To support the programs of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme, Channel Islands Family Dental Office is donating 100 percent of every new patient’s regular cleaning in 2013 to the Club.

“It’s great to have the support of community businesses helping to provide a better future for our youth,” said Tim Blaylock, BGCOP Chief Professional Officer. “In this type of endeavor, community members can help the Club while receiving necessary dental care. It’s a win-win for everyone.”

Channel Islands Family Dental Office provides care for patients of all ages. The dental office staff is bilingual and the office is an in-network provider for most dental PPO insurances and accepts Healthy Families and Medi-cal for children under the age of 18.
Channel Islands Family Dental Office is offering a new patient regular cleaning for uninsured adults for $59 and children for $49, all of which will be donated to the club. For patients with dental insurance, the office will donate 100 percent of the proceeds of their cleaning to the Club.

“Most dental insurances cover preventive dental services, including a cleaning at 100 percent. New patients can get healthy, and be part of restoring the community’s youth for as little as their yearly deductibles,” said Dr. Gustavo Assatourians, chief dentist and owner of the dental office. “The cleaning also includes oral health education training, nutritional counseling and a take-home dental care gift bag.”

For a limited time, the dental office will also waive the admissions dental exam and necessary x-ray fees, a value of $180.

“We believe in our future, a future of education, a future of support, a future of healthy smiles,” said Assatourians. “The Boys and Girls Club works to make our communities safer, getting every child to a better path. We are proud to support their efforts.”
