Adopt a Family Fund Holds Successful Walk-A-Thon

Jan. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Adopt a Family Fund held the Walk-a-Thon on beautiful Wollaston Beach in Quincy, Massachusetts on October 27, 2012 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Adopt a Family Fund Walk-a-Thon was organized to support educational opportunities for improvised children in Honduras, and to aid homeless persons in the Brockton area.

Adopt a Family Fund has been serving the extreme improvised since 1999 and became an official 501C3 charity in 2003, upon the formation of a Massachusetts charity corporation. Our main focus is to aid disadvantaged persons in Honduras, with special attention toward orphans, widows, the elderly and physically challenged individuals. Since 1999, we have assisted over 10,000 people through our monthly family food distribution program, medical missions, ongoing medical clinic, disadvantaged child educational support initiative and other programs.

Adopt a Family Fund embarked on a campaign to fulfill the will of God which can be found in the Holy Scriptures. We take serious the calling found in Isaiah 58, Matthew 25 and James 1:27; we are obligated by God as Disciples of Christ Jesus to help the needy. Join with us in this obedience and participate in one of our fundraising projects slated for 2012 and 2013. We hold one event each quarter and have ongoing fundraising programs such as Coins4Care, Monthly Family Sponsorships and Child Educational Initiatives.

Adopt a Family Fund Inc. is a 501C3 Charity approved by the Internal Revenue Service and organized in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
