Jeff Fox and Briana Payne Band to Participate in Cancer Benefit for Patricia Manas

Jan. 23, 2013 - PRLog -- For most musicians, it isn’t always about the fame and glamor of performing for an audience. As evidenced by the recent benefit concert put on for Hurricane Sandy relief by rock stars, including Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney, musicians have big hearts.

Kingman musician, Jeff Fox is no exception. He and Briana Payne, up and coming county music singer have volunteered to provide the entertainment on February 2nd to raise funds for cancer victim, Patricia Manas.

The event will essentially be a day filled with fun activities for the community, such as a car show and poker run sponsored by Route 66 Wings and Wheels, a non-profit organization for motor sports enthusiasts.  The action begins and concludes at the Cliff Findlay Auto Center.

Throughout the day, Jeff, Briana and the band promise to add to the excitement with a selection of Rock, Country and Western and even a couple popular Blues tunes.

On the subject of the benefit, Jeff stated, “Patricia Manas has been instrumental in organizing some of the best family activities in the area. It’s a privilege to be part of the fundraiser that will help her get back to good health. This community has given me and the band a lot of support, I’m glad for the opportunity to give back.”

Jeff Fox is one of many private individuals, businesses and organizations sponsoring the event. There will be plenty of free music and food for people wishing to join in the fun. The car show is also free. There is a registration fee for the poker run, with a guaranteed $500 purse for the winner. Donations for the benefit can be made in advance or on the day of the event.
