Brighton Publishing signs Mary M. Fern for “Never Say Goodbye: A Love Story”

Fern for “Never Say Goodbye: A Love Story,” a story written through an astonishing love and a tremendous amount of experience. “Never Say Goodbye: A Love Story” is scheduled for eBook release in mid-2013 and will be available through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other leading retailers nationwide. The print version is currently slated for release in late-2013 and will be available through Ingram, the world’s largest book distributor.
Humans have always celebrated life. As a community, walking together along a shared course, we often highlight our achievements with a variety of celebrations and memorials. It is this effervescent spirit of mankind that drives us always onward toward greater and more epic heights.
Yet, unfortunately, there are also those times when we must deal with immense grief and untold suffering.

“I was angry at people telling me, ‘The good die young.’ Then, after only a few weeks, ‘You should be getting over it by now,’ and ‘Isn’t it time to let go, say goodbye and move on?’…but, I will never say goodbye.”

On what would seem to be another ordinary day in May of 1980, author Mary M. Fern would soon find herself embarking upon a decidedly different journey. Daniel, her son, would become the tragic victim of a fatal house fire. There, before Ms. Fern, now stood a different path…
A path of both heart and soul. A path that would lead her to vow… to Never Say Goodbye.
Ultimately, this path would break her down and build her up again.

Author, poet, life advisor, proud mother, and grandmother, Mary M. Fern has always been the ‘go to’ person when speaking from the heart and listening with open ears. Her many years of volunteer counseling for a hospice bereavement group as well as her various life experiences have earned her a truly rare wisdom. Mary currently resides with her husband, George, the love of her life, in a small town outside Seattle where he keeps the garden a peaceful park as she continues to write.
