Full-Time Esthetic Classes to Begin at NJ Beauty School

Jan. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- South Plainfield, NJ – The Salon Professional Academy of New Jersey - the only beauty school in New Jersey endorsed by Redken for Excellence in education - is excited to announce the launch of full-time Esthetic program beginning in March.  At the helm of the program will be licensed cosmetologist Suzanne Savage, an expert in skin care for over 30 years.

Ms. Savage is collaborating with TSPA to expand their esthetic program to include new programs for students that will now cover procedures, including chemical peels and microdermabrasion.  Ms. Savage will also work to create a new guest services menu that will incorporate facials, peels and microdermabrasion.

As director of the full-time esthetic program, Suzanne is excited about the opportunity to bring in fresh ideas and techniques.

“We are approaching the program with all new, innovative ideas,” said Ms. Savage.

“We are working on new types of peels, concentrating on skin analysis, acne regimens and different types of anti-aging formulas and treatments,” she added.

Ms. Savage brings more than 30 years of professional skin care experience to the TSPA esthetic program.  She was the former spa director for a high end spa and fitness facility, and has had an extensive and lucrative career in the esthetic field in both spa and medical settings, and is currently Director of the Esthetic Dept with TSPA NJ.

Students enrolled in the New Jersey esthetic school classes at TSPA will continue to explore the current science of skin therapy while developing their hands-on skills and progressing to advanced therapies, paramedical procedures, waxing and makeup artistry.

Students will also gain knowledge of business strategies and receive training in guest services. TSPA esthetic school programs not only prepare students for the state board exam, but more importantly, for a long-term career in the industry.
