Follow on Google News | College Offers Teachers Free Certification Vouchers for Microsoft ProgramCommunity Business College is offering for the Microsoft Technology Associate exam vouchers and proctored exams free to teachers.
These exam vouchers include additional practice materials to help teachers prepare for the exams. Vouchers need to be redeemed at an authorized testing center such as Community Business College. For those who would like to redeem their vouchers and take the exams at the Community Business College testing center, the school has waived its regular proctoring fee eligible vouchers. That means that the exams, practice exams and actual tests will be at no out of pocket expenses for teachers. Teachers in K-12 schools, home schools, trade schools, community colleges and universities are eligible. School administrators are also eligible. Community Business College Director Dan Guerra said, “Community Business College chose to offer this voucher program to teachers because it’s an excellent way for teachers to get receive the Microsoft Technology Associate certification for their continuing education. In these challenging economic times, teachers need all the help we can give them.” To request a voucher, teachers should visit http://www.cbcwebcollege.com/ Exam vouchers will expire on March 29, 2013 and must be used for exams before then. Although teachers can choose to redeem their vouchers at the Community Business College Modesto testing center, the exam vouchers are valid at any testing center throughout the United States and Canada. Other testing centers may or may not waive proctoring fees and teachers are encouraged to check with each center’s policies before scheduling an exam. The college also provides affordable short-term training courses for unemployed students.
