MICA's Annual Sports Fest Concludes

Feb. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- The third and the final day of SAMAR, (MICA’s annual inter B-school sports festival) saw many twists and turns as teams gave it their all for the ultimate honour. The finals of all the sports were scheduled for the last day. NIRMA University and MICA were tied at the same score as everything boiled down to the final badminton match between the two teams. NIRMA took the initial lead in the match even as the home team came back into the match much to the delight of the crowd. The team from NIRMA however managed to keep their composure and finally won the match and hence the championship. The event was a grand success with the highest number of participating contingents ever and as SCAM(Sports Committee at MICA) says, is looking to get better with each passing year.
