| It’s official! Frotcom is about to launch a new Workforce Management moduleThe launch is scheduled to take place in the first quarter of 2013, following a period of field tests which has already begun.
By: Frotcom The system also allows workers to fill in the necessary forms at each step of the way, according to the instructions set by the company – for example unloading or refuelling forms. The new module can be completely integrated, by linking Frotcom to the company’s backoffice (linking to ERP software, for example). The job statuses and forms can then be processed by the company’s backoffice, after being collected from the workers by Frotcom. Additionally, the onboard system includes features such as sending and receiving messages, integrated navigation – including truck mode as an option – and the triggering of alerts (driving behaviour related or other alerts generated by Frotcom), among other features. The onboard system is completely autonomous and can even be used out of the vehicle if desired, which can be quite convenient to collect signatures from customers, for instance, as proof of delivery or service acceptance. A great advantage of the new system is that it can be configured for each company’s needs. Not only can the forms be defined for each company, but the workflow for each type of job is also configurable, taking the driver, technician or salesperson through a very controlled workflow. The status of each job can be followed in real time in Frotcom’s web interface. If you’d like to be among the first companies to try the new module as soon as it is available, please contact your Frotcom Certified Partner. We believe you’ll be as pleased as we are. End
