Cornish Gems Add New Jewels To Their Crown

Feb. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Luxury holiday specialists – Cornish Gems are rapidly expanding whilst celebrating a prestigious national award.

The company, which launched in Lelant in 2007, opened its Hayle Head Office shortly after, followed by a relocation to larger premises in Threemilestone, Truro in 2010. They are now opening two regional offices before Easter - one in St Ives and one in Carbis Bay.

The new offices include the former Boots Pharmacy in Carbis Bay and a prime location at the bottom of Tregenna Hill in St Ives.

Founder and Managing Co-Director Julianne Shelton said:

“New office acquisition forms part of our continued growth strategy to further develop our brand and property portfolio. As we offer owners a full management package which encompasses everything from marketing through to managing the housekeeping, these offices will result in significant recruitment in the area.”

“Our Carbis Bay office opens mid February and the St Ives office will open in March, prior to Easter.”

The company are also celebrating having been awarded the Investors in People (IIP) Silver accreditation just before Christmas for the way it has transformed its business performance through the support and motivation of its team.

Julianne said: “IIP Silver accreditation comes after 15 months of enhancing the way we manage our staff and run our business. Cornish Gems is currently the only holiday cottage agency with IIP Silver accreditation in Cornwall."

The Silver award has been awarded to fewer than 600 organisations in the country, which is just 2.82 per cent of all organisations awarded the Investors in People Standard.
