Some Queens Can’t Keep Up In Episode 3, Season 5 Of RuPaul's Drag Race, Featuring Colorevolution

IBG Laboratories, The Makers of Colorevolution Cosmetics is offering one contestant a lifetime supply of cosmetics to the next superstar on RuPaul’s Drag Race, Season 5.

Feb. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA – Last night Logo TV aired the third episode of season five’s RuPaul’s Drag Race, “Draggle Rock” which delivered more fierce queen drama that we backbiting viewers love to gossip about.

“Draggle Rock” begins with the queens returning to the dressing room with Jade Jolie expressing her bitter remorse after the elimination of the scorned Serena ChaCha. The remaining 12 queens continue their dazzling pursuit of becoming America’s next fabulous drag queen while hoping to take home the grand prize which includes: a lifetime supply of Colorevolution Cosmetics, a one of a kind trip, courtesy of Al & Chuck.Travel.com, the honor of headlining the drag race tour featuring Absolute Vodka; cocktails perfected, and a “cash money honey” prize of $100,000.

The episode quickly transitions to the ever so creative “Junior Drag Superstar Pageant’ mini-challenge. The queens are paired up and have the task of painting and dressing their child-sized mannequins into the ultimate queen within 15 minutes. Alaska and Lineysha’s mini-queen, Lil’ Pound Cake, took first place with her raunchy catch-phrase, “You’re not my real dad and you never will be,” as the little diva elegantly waved her “finger” towards Ru leaving him jubilantly laughing.

With winning the mini-chalenge, Alaska and Lineysha find themselves as the two team captains for the main challenge of creating a show for the “young and young at heart.” Alsaska’s team creates a drag parody of Pee-Wee’s Playhouse with the themed word of “box,” opening the queens to insinuating humorous jokes pertaining to the female anatomy. Lineysha’s team atrociously attempts to create a horrible rendition of a drag “Sesame Street” consisting of a fairy bit illustrating the word “blow,” a ventriloquist doll bit which reminded Ru of the frightening doll from the Saw movies, only to be followed by a banana-split lesson where each ingredient is translated into Spanish, the whole skit completely failing to meet the objective of the challenge.

As more queen drama erupts between Coco and Alyssa from the 2010 Miss Gay America competition, the rest of the queens prepare for the pink themed runway event with special judges, including: singer and radio host, Michelle Visage; fashion designer, Santino Rice; model, Paulina Porizkova; and Ice T’s beloved glamour model wife, Coco.  With Detox being declared the winner of the pink runway challenge, Monica Beverly Hillz and Coco Montrese find themselves in the survival lip-synch challenge of “When I Grow Up,” performed by The Pussy Cat Dolls. With Monica Bereverly Hillz’s lack of passion and enthusiasm in the survival challenge, she was easily stomped over by Coco Montrese, casting her as the latest queen to be dragged from RuPaul’s race.

In addition to Colorevolution being featured throughout the 5th season of RuPaul's Drag Race, IBG Laboratories, the makers of Colorevolution, is collaborating with RuPaul on specialized private label items that will be coming in 2013.

Viewers can catch the race with Colorevolution and RuPaul on LOGO channel on Mondays 9/8pm Central.
