Koskinen of Media Brian E. Kozak of Phoenixville Ryan M. Mattox of Lansdowne These Devon Prep students were recognized for their extraordinary achievement on college level Advanced Placement exams taken last spring. Only 18% of the more than one million students who took AP exams in May 2012 performed at a sufficiently high level to merit such recognition. The AP Program, sponsored by the College Board, is a cooperative educational endeavor between high schools and colleges and universities. Most of the nation’s colleges and universities award credit and/or advanced placement based on successful performances on the AP Exams. Devon Prep’s AP Program begins in the sophomore year and offers more than 17 courses in numerous subjects including history, biology, physics, English, geography, political science and several foreign languages. Devon Prep is a small, private, Catholic, college preparatory school for young men in grades six through 12 conducted by the Piarist Fathers.
