Follow on Google News | ![]() Nick Antinozzi Steals Second Base for AmericaAs the political climate continues to ebb and flow on the gun debate, Author Nick Antinozzi supplied the public with an incredible piece of fiction called Stealing Second, The Amendments, that is more non-fiction than we want to admit.
By: JRL Solutions The story is a tale of Gary Smith, an unassuming name is supported by an unassuming political stance. Like many Americans, Gary has an ideal that to be a 'good' American, he has to put some trust in his government. So while he, like everyone else, has heard the stories about big brother, he has more or less chosen to believe they are looking out for his best interest. Another ho-hum day in Gary's life later, he has the blinders crudely ripped from his eyes when his own government launches a war against its people. Even those like Gary who had considered it his patriotic duty to trust them to protect him, were ruthlessly attacked. While Gary may have been intentionally ignorant, he also realizes, far too late, that people like him, with his mindset, were part of the problem that led them to here; a country at war with its citizens. As Gary realizes that he must fight to take back the freedoms stolen from him, he embarks on a journey that brings him in contact with those we all know; love or hate them, every day. The single mother, sworn to protect her country, the farmers who feed us, good parents on both sides of the gun debate coin, and other characters most won't have a choice but to see in themselves. They all join in the overwhelming effort to retrieve one of America's most basic amendments, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms. Reviewers of Stealing Second are chiming in at a fast rate and lauding Antinozzi's fictional scenario as a very realistic possibility. However you feel about gun control, and whatever side of the issue you stand on, Stealing Second is a work of fiction that bears too much resemblance to the current climate as well as future realistic and unpleasant possibilities on this important issue to ignore. Before you make any arguments you feel are plausible to help dismantle the Second Amendment, read Antinozzi's Stealing Second today. http://www.amazon.com/ Regardless of which side you stand on, feel free to join Nick and many others at the Desperate Times Facebook Fan page. https://www.facebook.com/ End
