Dunn Tire Sponsors Golf Balls on Parade – Seeks Design Vote

Feb. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- ROCHESTER, N.Y. February 20, 2013 – Dunn Tire is joining Rochester’s artistic, business, and golf community in “Golf Balls on Parade”,  a summer-long community arts event. As part of the program, 5-foot tall fiberglass golf balls on tees will be on display throughout the Greater Rochester and Western New York area, including select Dunn Tire locations, throughout the spring and summer. The golf balls will feature original designs by local artists.
Dunn Tire is seeking votes from the public to assist with the final design selection for their currently “blank” golf ball sculpture.  Three designs from four Rochester artists are currently being considered for the Dunn Tire sponsored golf ball.  The artists submitting the designs are Nicole Scanlon, Chris Pallace and Kevin Serwacki, and Lisa Robinson.

“This is a fantastic community event supporting local charities and local artists and we’re proud to be a part of it” said Chuck Haring, Director of Marketing & Advertising for Dunn Tire, “We can’t wait to get our golf ball designed and get this event underway. Golf Balls on Parade gives local artists an opportunity to create designs that showcase the beauty of our region.
