Day Two Results in Fruitful Discussion Around the Role of Youth in Ecology Awareness at MICA-GEC

Feb. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- The discussion mainly revolved around the efforts that are being put in by various government and non-government bodies in collaboration with the steps being taken by corporations to make sure that the future generations can have an equitable share of the resources that we now do. The discussion focused on the achievements as well as the difficult road ahead and all that is left to be done.
The afternoon session was again a panel discussion on “The role of the youth in ecology awareness”.  As the generation that is equipped with the necessary technology to reach out to more people across the globe, it has the responsibility to reach out and communicate across borders.  Young journalists are playing a very important role according to the experts, but in a limited scope. The fact that we need reach out to the masses using the mainstream as well as the unconventional methods instead of just talking amongst ourselves was focused upon.
The final session of the day was taken by well known magician Ugesh Sarcar. In his talk, he propounded that things are not always what they seem on the outside and it may be necessary to peel through the layers often to understand what lies beneath.
