Sustainable Biofuels Awards Shortlist Announced

March 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Friday, 01/03/2013 (LONDON) – Today sees the announcement of the shortlist for the 5th annual, Sustainable Biofuels Awards 2013. The awards ceremony, recognising those companies and individuals who have displayed innovation and leadership in the development of truly sustainable and renewable fuel and chemical solutions, takes place on the evening of day two (Wednesday 13th March) of the 2013 World Biofuels Markets (www.worldbiofuelsmarkets.com), in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

This year once again sees a diverse range of companies including Virgin Atlantic, Solazyme and Rivertop Renewables, shortlisted across ten categories including Breakthrough Innovation in Technology and Sustainable Aviation, whilst the prestigious Green Shoots Award will be awarded to the company that has displayed the most exciting innovation in next generation development over the course of the last 12 months.

Running in conjunction to World Biofuels Markets, this year will also see the return of the Bio-based Chemicals Conference and Exhibition, including its own recognition of leaders within the industry with the Bio-based Chemicals Awards.

Now in its fifth year, the Bio-based Chemicals Conference provides key players from within the industry the opportunity to share best practice and innovations in one of the most widely discussed sectors at present.
