Follow on Google News | 10 Women to Receive Business Advice in Relaxed Rustic SettingThree-day retreat to include handcrafted talks, presentations and one-on-one mentoring
“What makes this retreat different from a typical business conference is that it will provide attendees a chance to interact one-on-one with proven business experts in a casual environment,” Headlining the early-June retreat will be Tiffany Krumins, a participant from the ABC small-business reality show Shark Tank. Known as a modern-day Mary Poppins after bringing her Ava the Elephant talking medicine dispenser to market, Krumins is committed to helping women entrepreneurs grow businesses of their own. She will share her experiences with retreat participants and provide tips about getting started, getting exposure and avoiding mistakes. “I am absolutely thrilled to work one-on-one with women at this retreat,” Krumins said. “So much is learned when women gather and share both their triumphs and failures with one another. While I have accomplished many amazing things in business, I also made mistakes along the way. I look forward to hearing these women’s ideas and figuring out how we can put our creative and determined minds together to move mountains.” The retreat will open with a Thursday night talk, with Friday thru Sunday devoted to workshops and presentations on starting a business, bringing a product to market, creating and managing public relations strategies, marketing online and offline, branding, finding the ideal customer and more. The setting for this unique retreat is a secluded remodeled farmhouse in Anton. There, participants will enjoy catered meals, evening bonfires, guided country walks and optional massage therapy sessions.
