By: Tivi Jones Media Sarra Cannon, a former music teacher and mother of a 9-month-old has been featured in the Huffington Post, spoken as an authority along side New York Times Best-Seller Hugh Howey and had one of her books picked by Amazon as a Top 100 Kids & Teens Kindle Books for 2012. Sarra Cannon is a self-published author on the verge of a sky-rocketing career. It's no secret that many self-published authors have gone on to find amazing success in the publishing industry; "Fifty Shades of Grey" author E. L. James; "Wool" author Hugh Howey; young adult author Amanda Hocking, for example. Sarra Cannon is poised to this level of success. "When I first made the decision to self-publish in 2010, I wondered if I was doing the right thing," says Cannon. "Now, just two and a half years later, I have no doubts about the path I've chosen. I've sold 121,000 ebooks and that number is growing every day. It's such a dream come true." Cannon's first series, her Peachville High Demons series, is about a girl named Harper who is kicked out of yet another foster home and moves to the small town of Peachville, Georgia. There, she encounters a group of mysteriously beautiful cheerleaders. When Harper is framed for the murder of one of the PHS Demons cheerleaders, she is determined to find out what big secrets are being hidden in this small town. Beautiful Demons, the first book in the series, can be found for free on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords, Kobo and Apple. Cannon's next series, the Eternal Sorrows series, will launch this spring. Told from alternating points of view, this story is packed with action, magic, and romance as a group of teens struggles to survive the zombie apocalypse. They will find out zombies are the least of their problems. On Tuesday, March 5, Cannon will do a cover reveal for the first book in her Eternal Sorrows series, Death's Awakening. "The Demons series was full of twists and turns, but with Death's Awakening, I feel like I've turned it up a notch," says Cannon. "This is just a bigger story. More danger, more romance, and a lot more surprises."
